Olivier Vanderhaeghe

I fell into the migmatites’ cauldron as a bachelor geologist and never really got out of it besides to try to understand how they connect to upper crustal magmatic and hydrothermal processes but also to the formation of lower crustal rocks including granulites. The current challenges that I try to address are what the dynamics of partially molten crustal roots is and how it controls melt/solid segregation and lithospheric differentiation with applications in terms of mineral systems and deep geothermal resources.
