I am currently a metamorphic petrologist at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGGCAS), Beijing, China. My main research interests include Archean and Paleoproterozoic high-grade metamorphism, especially ultrahigh-temperature metamorphism, from which to understand the tectonic regime in the Precambrian (early plate tectonics or other vertical tectonics). I am also interested in zircon and monazite behaviour during the partial melting and high-grade metamorphism and the interpretation of the obtained U-Pb dates. And I recently pay more attention on the coupling between secular evolution of metamorphism and magmatism, such as secular change of temperature- and pressure-indicative trace elements in detrital zircon, and develop new thermometer from trace elements in garnet.
