Keynote Speaker
Nathan Daczko
Professor Nathan Daczko (Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia) is a metamorphic petrologist who combines field and laboratory studies to examine metamorphic processes. He addresses multiple scales, from microstructure to the evolution of large orogens. Inverting this information provides constraints on the geodynamic and metasomatic processes involved in the history of metamorphic rocks, and advances understanding of crustal evolution and geodynamics. Nathan has been recognised with multiple awards including the Powell Medal, E.S. Hills Medal, Stillwell Award and most recently was awarded an Educational Leader Award from Macquarie’s Vice Chancellor.
